Chad Taylor is an accomplished film and video producer, editor, graphic artist and animator.  Chad’s studies have included degrees in Industrial Design from the University of Michigan, where he was invited to teach immediately after graduating with honors. Chad has won several national and international awards for editing, design, and 3d animation, and is continually learning the latest in cutting edge production technologies.

Since 1998, Chad has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan, instructing classes in 3D modeling, 3D animation, digital compositing, special effects, and web development. Chad has held faculty positions at the University of Michigan, Washtenaw Community College, Madonna University, College for Creative Studies, and has lectured nationwide on topics from 3D animation, rapid visualization, and digital special effects.

Since 2002, Chad has worked extensively on film and animation projects for the Department of Defense, Office of Naval Research, and is also an Apple® Developer, working extensively on programming and development for Quicktime. He is also a member of the Industrial Design Society of America (IDSA) and the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA.)

Currently, Chad is on the faculty of the prestigious College for Creative Studies in Detroit, and serves full time as Art Director for 45 North Communications and is involved in all aspects of production, from 3D animations to editing, cinematography, web development and graphic design. He is happily married to his wife and have 3 wonderful children.
